The House of Representatives Parliamentary Questions web site supplies a feedback form to give users an opportunity to voice their comments on the service.

The same form can be used to report any problems you may experience while using this site

Once the form has been completed the user must click on the submit button at the bottom of the page. This will forward the information to the House of Representatives.

We cannot reply to every query but each one will be read and acted upon where necessary.

Keyboard access is important for users who do not have ability to use a pointing device. Each of the areas in this website has been constructed to allow users to bind keyboard strokes to actions.

Not only is this an essential tool for certain members of the community but it is also a quick and easy way for everyone to navigate the site. Just press the 'alt' key and the required letter at the same time and let the browser do the rest.

The House of Representatives Parliamentary Questions web site has been fully tested on a number of  browsers on the majority of existing computer operating systems.

PQ.Gov.mt uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to format the textual information within each page. Only browsers from version 4 upwards fully understand CSS formatting.

Any page can be printed from the web by selecting the Print option from the File menu within Microsoft IE or Netscape, or else by clicking on the Print button found in every form

To bookmark a particular page select the ‘Add to Favorites’ option found under the ‘Favourites’ menu if using Microsoft Internet Explorer or by selecting the ‘Add Bookmarks’ option found under the ‘Bookmarks’ menu if you are using Netscape Navigator.

This web site provides a searching tool for Parliamentary Questions (PQs) and Answers. In order to do this, the user should click on the link 'Search’ (found at the top of every page in this site or in the left hand margin in the home page). Once the search form is displayed, the user may enter his search criteria.

1) Search for: Choose whether result list should include PQs and replies that match all or at least one of the criteria entered.

2) Legislature: Choose which legislature to search in. This can be omitted if the user wishes to search across all legislatures.

3) Category: Choose the PQ category (written / oral). If omitted all categories are searched.

4) Raised By: Choose the Member of Parliament (MP) who submitted the question. If omitted, all questions and replies, regardless of who they were raised by, will be searched.

5) For Ministry: Choose the Ministry the PQ was addressed to. If omitted all questions and replies, regardless of which Ministry they were addressed to, will be searched.

6) PQ Number: Enter the PQ Number.
The user can choose to search for :

• a specific PQ number;
• any PQs before or after a specific PQ;
• PQs whose number fall between a range.

7) Sitting Date: Enter the Sitting Date.
The user can choose to search for:

• PQs assigned to a specific sitting date;
• any PQs whose sitting was before or after a specific date;
• PQs whose sitting fell between a date range.

8) Date Raised: Enter the Date Raised.
The user can choose to search for :

• PQs that were raised on a specific date,
• any PQs that were raised before or after a specific date,
• PQs that were raised between a date range, e.g. during October 2003

9) Results per page: Number of results to be shown on each page.

10) Words: Enter the text to be searched on. Since all questions and replies are given in Maltese, the user would need to use the appropriate maltese characters when searching for words that contain ċ, ġ, ħ, or ż. This can be done by clicking on the appropriate button below the Words text box.

11) Sort Results By: The user can choose to view results by :

• Relevance, most relevant questions and replies will be shown first;
• Oldest first (by date), results will be shown sorted in ascending order according to when they were published.
• Newest first (by date), results will be shown sorted in descending order according to when they were published.

Any page displayed on your browser can be saved to your local drive by selecting the ‘Save As’ option found under the ‘File’ menu within Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator.
